Trio of Games Added for Automatic Stat Tracking
Want more ways for your players to earn ggChampions points? Tired of seeing the same old leaderboards? Well, do we have some news for you! We interrupt this infomercial to let you know we’ve released three new games that will do automatic stat tracking through the ggLeap client. These games are in addition to what we already track in League of Legends and Dota 2. This will create even more stats and leaderboards for your esports center customers to follow.
These leaderboards will not only be available on the ggChampions site but will also be available to see on the ggLeap client and within the game details of each title. ggLeap wants to add more and more of the top games in our network for a multitude of players to be recognized.
Apex Legends
Apex is currently the #8 game played in the ggCircuit network. An addition to our Battle Royale offering of stat tracking which includes Fortnite. As you know, Apex got a huge following after Ninja initially started streaming it.
Apex Legends is available through the Origin PC game store. This stat offering is currently available in a pilot program for the US only. More supported regions coming soon.
Team Fight Tactics
In conjunction with our $25k tournament announcement in September, we’ve also added a regular leaderboard for centers in all regions for Team Fight Tactics.
This game is a sub-game within League of Legends that is a round-based. It’s a strategy game that pits you against seven opponents in a free-for-all race to build a powerful team that fights on your behalf. Your goal: Be the last person standing.
Player Unknown Battlegrounds
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is another battle royale game added to the supported titles for ggLeap stat tracking.
In the game, up to one hundred players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and equipment to remove others from the game while avoiding getting killed themselves. The available safe area of the game’s map decreases in size over time, directing surviving players into tighter areas to force encounters. The last player or team standing wins the round.
How does automatic stat tracking work?
Just like it sounds, it’s automatic. As a player, all you have to do is login to an esports center PC running ggLeap and play any of the supported titles. Your statistics will be tracked and show up on both local and global leaderboards almost immediately after the game has concluded.
The ggLeap team is happy to provide more and more unique offerings for player to see their progress and be recognized with their name and accomplishments in lights. Ready to take your esports center to the next level? Try a 30 day trial of ggLeap today!
