ggLeap Custom Interface Runs NZXT Pop Up

 In ggLeap, Retail

NZXT hosted a pop up event in Los Angeles earlier this month July 4th – 7th.  Prior to the event, their biggest unknown was how to control the PC gaming experience. Our team was happy to step in to provide a ggLeap custom interface for their event.  After an initial brainstorm meeting, the ggCircuit development team got straight to work on building a ggLeap custom interface for their event.

NZXT is, of course, a top computer manufacturer providing cases, cooling & accessories for PC gamers and builders. The reason they came to us to build a ggLeap custom interface for the event was that they needed a solution for their fans and customers that was not only functional but easy and intuitive to use.  Customers would be walking in ‘from the street’ to experience all that the NZXT pop up had to offer including trying out their latest product line up, playing their favorite games on the PCs as well as meeting esports influencers. The ggLeap custom interface made it easy for gamers to navigate/launch games and also created a uniform branding opportunity for NZXT across all their screens.  It was a perfect partnership!

Details of the ggLeap Custom Interface

The utilization of a ggLeap custom interface for the NZXT pop up allows us to show off the flexibility of our software. In the past, we’ve worked with Alienware, Best Buy, OS Studios and more to provide branding and design support that makes the ggLeap front end a custom branding experience.

The ggLeap back end continues to be our leading edge cloud based esports management software, serving customers to easily access the latest games and more. ggLeap worked in-depth with the NZXT marketing and branding teams to deliver their custom experience. Below you’ll see the final result from our existing ggLeap user interface to the NZXT ggLeap custom interface.

Discord Integration for NZXT and beyond

One of the functionality requirements NZXT had for the ggLeap custom interface was the ability to integrate Discord directly within the PC client software. This was a monumental task for the dev team on a short timeline. The ggLeap team took this on and delivered an ability to automate Discord logins via a custom server.

Local Discord server functionality was implemented directly into the PC client for quick player communication.

This allowed not only players to quickly get into a communication channel together, but also for customers and employees to have two way conversation for issues and needs. This functionality has now become mainstream for all of ggLeap and is a testament to how overall our customers benefit from working with large entities such as NZXT.
