College Esports Expo to Host ggLeap CEO

 In Announcement, Conventions, ggLeap, News

The College Esports Expo will take place on April 5th, 2018 at Emerson College in Boston. It will coincide with the opening of PAX East the annual indie game showcase. CEX has invited ggLeap CEO, Zack Johnson, to present on the impact of on campus LAN centers and esports arenas and how they are networked with ggLeap software. This will be the second panel that ggLeap has been invited to recently. The first was through SportsUnited in early March of this year.

About the College Esports Expo

The inaugural College Esports Expo will consist of two separate experiences that bridge the gap between student interest, industry need and administration response. Emerson’s Semel Theater will host panelists, workshops and guest speakers who will delve into all topics relevant to the collegiate and amateur esports industry. Just down the street, Emerson’s Bill Bordy Theater will transform into a student lead, interactive competitive gaming zone with exhibitions of collegiate competition.

CEX Executive Director, Kevin Mitchell, says, “The main objective of the College Esports Expo is to enlighten college esports players and university administrations about all the possibilities to grow esports on their campuses. Presentations at the expo will also include Twitch, Collegiate Star League, and Twitter. These presentations will cover how these products or services can help enable the growth of the collegiate esports marketplace.”

Inside Esports LAN Centers with ggLeap

The ggLeap presentation will happen on April 5th at 11:00 AM. Zack Johnson will discuss how collegiate esports LAN centers are being connected and managed through our esports OS & ggCircuit automated competition & statistical tracking platform.

We will discuss our history working with colleges such as UCI, Boise State & Lambton College and many other collegiate programs that are looking to us to run their esports centers.
